Eusebius devoted himself to his studies, especially to the study of the Bible. He made diligent use of Pamphilus’ magnificent library. Joining the theological school of Pamphilus, Eusebius became an earnest student. At an early age, he associated himself with Pamphilus, an overseer of the church in Caesarea.
